About Air Duct Burners
Air Duct Burners are used by combined cycle plants the most frequently. These enable the gas stream to be heated uniformly. They function well. To operate unlike any other duct burner, premium components and proprietary technology come together. Although standard burners are often positioned in the gas stream, they are occasionally mounted in the HRSG walls. Air Duct Burners are often found either inter-stage upstream of the first superheat or reheat assembly or in the transition duct between the GT exhaust and the lead row of the HRSG.
